Welcome to Lugo's Lounge, where the vibrant flavors of the Caribbean and the rich traditions of Spanish food come together in the heart of Ridgewood, Queens. For the last 18 years, our journey has been driven by a passion for sharing the complete Dominican culture with New York City. Food, for us, is more than just a meal—it's about family, heritage, and the joy of a shared table. While our menu celebrates the best of Hispanic and Caribbean cooking, our heart and specialty lie in the unique, beloved flavors of the Dominican Republic. Every dish and every note of music is a tribute to the home-cooked meals and lively gatherings we grew up with, prepared with a particular Dominican touch that has been passed down through generations.

Our Mission

At Lugo's Lounge, our mission is to take you on a complete cultural journey. We aim to be Ridgewood's premier destination for authentic Spanish and Caribbean food, served in a warm and inviting atmosphere that comes alive with the sound of our heritage. We specialize in crafting traditional Dominican dishes, and on the weekends, we transform into a hub for music lovers. We bring in top NYC and Dominican artists to play live Merengue Tipico, filling the air with the sounds of the accordion and other classic Caribbean instruments. Our selective crowd of "Tipico Lovers" comes to experience this authentic musical culture. The night starts with our DJ at 10:30 PM, playing the best of Bachata, Merengue, Dembow, and Salsa. At midnight, the live Tipico band starts and plays until 4 AM, creating an unforgettable cultural experience.
